Participated in the research and development of the countywide watershed management plan. Helped organize key stakeholder groups. Worked closely with local and regional watershed stakeholders in identifying watershed goals and objectives and other key watershed activities. Contributed in the research of water resource data, stream and wetland inventory data, water quality data, and biological habitat data. Assisted in the preparation and review of the final report.

Prince William County Watershed Management Plan, Dumfries, VA

Worked with County and local watershed stakeholders in the development of a countywide watershed management plan. Assisted in the coordination of steering community activities. Participated in inventory research and data collection needed to identify watershed priorities. Involvement included water quality modeling, biological habitat data research, and wetland inventory. Attended and participated in public meetings with stakeholders and county representatives. Assisted in the development and review of the final report.

Lake Montclair Water Quality Assessment, Dumfries, VA

Developed and managed a lake management study designed to assess the biological habitat and to evaluate the water quality of a 384-acre lake in Prince William County, VA. Worked with County and homeowner association groups in identifying concerns and issues within both the lake and in the surrounding watershed. Perform fieldwork in collecting water quality and biological data for inclusion in the final document. Prepared detailed reports for review by EPA, DEQ, and USFWS. Responsible for public component through presentations and community involvement. 

Cuppy-McClure Watershed Management Plan, West Lafayette, IN

Participated with the City of West Lafayette, Indiana and Purdue University in the full-scale development of the City’s and University’s long-term watershed management plan.
